The Good Stuff: Meet Community Hero Maureen McKenny

Bickford Ford Community Hero Maureen McKenny is featured on today’s Fitz in the Morning “The Good Stuff”.  78-year-old Maureen, who lives in Port Townsend, has been making masks for nurses and others in her community who are working on the Front Lines of our Nursing Homes. And despite being on a fixed income, Maureen is using her Federal Stimulus Check to pay for it all.  She is our Bickford Ford Community Hero for May!

Our friends at Disney have done it again!  The “Disney Family Sing-A-Long Two was a great hit for the whole family on Mother’s Day! The Good Stuff: Tacoma Community Hero Hollie is a Nurse Battling COVID in NYC

In a Special Edition of Fitz In The Morning’s “The Good Stuff”, Hollie is one of the most amazing Community Heroes we have ever met!  Our April Bickford Ford Community Hero is a Respiratory Therapist who works for MultiCare Tacoma General.  But she has taken the time out of her life to go to New York City and work at a hospital to help battle the COVID-19 pandemic in one of the hottest zones in the Country.
