Luke Bryan’s Mom Surprises Him With American Idol Visit On Mother’s Day

Talk about a Mother’s Day surprise! Sunday night, Luke Bryan’s mother, LeClaire showed up on American Idol. To make sure Luke didn’t have any ideas they played a “taped” message from him mom before she appeared.

In the video, LeClaire said, “I miss you here on Mother’s Day. (I) wish I could be with you. I’m having a good day down here at the beach. Wish you were here with me. I’m very proud of you. I’m getting excited about the night. I get to watch American Idol one more time. Love you. Call you in the morning. I have something to tell you about fishing.”

After seeing the message, Luke took some time to reflect on the message and explain the importance of fishing in the family. While that was happening his mom snuck up behind him for the surprise hug!
