It looks like March is the month where The Unicode Consortium, a company that sets software standards, has approved a list of 230 new emojis that will come to a smart phone near you. Emojipedia, a reference website for all things emoji, shows several of the finalists on this year’s list were drafted in previous years, including flamingo, otter and sloth. The full video is at the bottom.
Some others that I love are emojis that represent some of those with disabilities.
And the most controversial of them all, according to the internet, the new ‘pinching hand’ emoji….
A new emoji of a hand making a suggestive pinching gesture has been revealed and Twitter is ready to use it in the most savage way. https://t.co/gIuBnJ52sv
