Remembering Northwest Radio Legend Pat O’Day

Legendary Northwest Broadcaster Pat O’Day has passed away at the age of 85. Pat was a constant in our lives since the 1960’s, as a DJ, concert promoter, pitchman, and of course THE Seafair race announcer.  On Wednesday, Fitz and the Gang remembered Pat, aka the "godfather" of Seattle's teen dance scene, and his connections to radio, Schick Shadel Hospital, the local Pop scene, and Jimi Hendrix.

Bickford Ford Community Hero Maureen McKenny is featured on today’s Fitz in the Morning “The Good Stuff”.  78-year-old Maureen, who lives in Port Townsend, has been making masks for nurses and others in her community who are working on the Front Lines of our Nursing Homes.
