Avengers: Endgame Is Going To The Bank This Weekend

Avengers:Endgame is the 22nd Film in the Marvel Movie Universe. It’s been a decade in the making for this movie, Marvel was one of the first studios to build a connected universe of movies. There’s always sequels sure but 21 movies in a row all connected to one another? It was unheard of.

That changed in 2010 when they released Ironman staring Robert Downey Jr. It was a huge gamble with Downey’s past, whispers were going around it would fail before it got off the ground. Downey put those whispers in the ground having a huge success at the box office domestically and over seas.

Since then every Marvel movie has been a success in some way or another (I’m not talking about the X-Men franchise or the Fantastic FourAmazing Spider-Man either.) When Avengers: Infinity War was released it made $2,048,359,754 Worldwide!! Now reports are saying  that Endgame will gross as close to $1,000,000,000 by Sunday!!

This would be dominating in Hollywood, there’s about 38 movies in the billion dollar club including Avengers:Endgame, Aquaman, Avatar, and a few Star Wars movies. But rarely does a movie hit a billion dollars in just one weekend!

History hasn’t been made yet but check back with us on Monday to hear if it did!!!

About Ryder

Born and raised in Washington and I’m proud to call this place my home. I grew up dragging brush for my dad's tree service while listening to the radio. Those are some of my fondest memories as a kid. Being on a country radio station in Seattle is a chance to bring some of that joy to the greater Seattle area!
