Captain Marvel Writer talks sequel with Tim

Tim and the Leary clan got to go to Emerald City Comic Con at the Washington State Convention Center for the first time and excited didn’t quite cut it.

Sunday was nerd haven for Tim and he got to interview the writer for Captain Marvel! Kelly Sue DeConnick is the writer that brought Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) into the  modern age giving her the title of Captain Marvel. Tim was hopeful he could ask a few questions and walked away with a lot more! Kelly was personable, sweet, and engaging when it came to talking comics. It included her thoughts on whether or not there would be a sequel for the movie. Even after they talked she jumped up from the table for a picture and talked with the whole Leary family. We can say it enough, Kelly Sue DeConnick is next level in the comic book world and next level as a human being and we were unbelievably grateful to talk with her.

You can watch the whole interview right here!

About Ryder

Born and raised in Washington and I’m proud to call this place my home. I grew up dragging brush for my dad's tree service while listening to the radio. Those are some of my fondest memories as a kid. Being on a country radio station in Seattle is a chance to bring some of that joy to the greater Seattle area!
