Chris Stapleton will not be touring in 2020, including his major stops such as the Gorge Amphitheater. This all began back in March and April when Stapleton first had to postpone his tour when everything began shutting down. News broke yesterday about the All-American Road Show having to be pushed back to 2021 when his team made this announcement.
“We’ve made this decision with the health and safety of our fans, touring family, and the communities we travel through as our number one priority,” Stapleton’s statement says. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all navigate these unusual times. We miss seeing your faces in the crowd, hearing your voices and sharing the moments that we can only have when we come together in music … Until then we wish you all good health & safety.”
His tour is set to start back up on April 21st, 2021 and continue on the road till mid November. Stapleton also promises an update on other shows to be rescheduled in 2021. This includes some Baseball stadiums, but Stapleton wants to follow suit of the MLB when it comes to planning the tour.
In addition to his own tour dates, Stapleton was scheduled to perform two major stadium shows with George Strait this summer. Both of those concerts have also been rescheduled for 2021.
