The 8th annual GeekWire Bash — the most unique and fun event on the Seattle tech calendar — is coming up on Thursday, March 7th at the CenturyLink Field Event Center. This giant geek festival draws more than 2,000, and is now open to geeks of all ages!  Ping pong, dodge ball, football, VR, arcade, video and table games, zip lines and more!  Bring your family — or a co-worker who still acts like a kid. Either way, you’ll have a blast!
New in 2019 – JUNIOR GEEK ZONE!  Bring the family for fun to this year’s event and enjoy engaging games and STEM-focused activities provided by area partners at ‘Camp STEM.’
GeekWire is proud to present the first annual GEEKWIRE ROBOTICS CUP, an invitational competition with 24 teams from around Western Washington hosted by FIRST Washington. FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) teams of up to 10 kids, from 4th – 8th grades, build LEGO®– based robots and develop research projects based on a real-world scientific challenge.  The competition theme for 2019 is “Into Orbit” in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the lunar landing.

Tournament Registrations include additional fees and include dodge ball, ping pong, and Foosball. (See site for more details).  New this year – Junior Geek Zone – a family-friendly area featuring a robotics tournament and Camp STEM (hands-on activities for kids), and GeekWire Robotics Cup in partnership with FIRST Washington.
