Step Forward: SR 99 Grand Opening

February 2, 2019 7:30 am

Starting on January 11th, SR 99 will be closed for 3-weeks while the new SR 99 tunnel is completed.  On February 2nd and 3rd a grand opening will take place on SR 99 to celebrate the new tunnel!  The grand opening will celebrate the past, present and future of Seattle’s waterfront.  With this theme in mind, the festival and programming will likely include the following elements:

-A reflection on the past, including an art festival on the viaduct

-A celebration of the present, represented by the opening of the new SR 99 tunnel, highlighting STEM and the people who contributed to the program

-A look ahead to the future, featuring highlights of the City’s plans for the waterfront

Be sure to stop by The New 98.9 The Bull tent on February 2nd to say hello and grab your sample of La Panzanella crackers!  To help you make every occasion, as well as every day, memorable, La Panzanella® carefully crafts its artisan crackers using time-honored recipes and simple, wholesome ingredients found in your very own kitchen. Italian inspired and locally made, La Panzanella artisan crackers are the perfect low-fat, vegan, and cholesterol-free appetizer, ideal for any celebration of life, love and food.
