Treehouse Adapting During COVID-19 Pandemic

May 1, 2020 12:00 am

The first place youth in foster care across the state of Washington are going right now is Treehouse. The nonprofit organization is responding to the challenges of COVID-19 by adjusting existing programs to fund immediate needs. That includes rent assistance for independent young adults, as hours are cut and jobs lost because of closures. Laptops and cell phones are a big request too as many students adapt for online school.

Treehouse continues to assess each unique situation and fill gaps. Join in supporting more than 8,000 youth in foster care statewide. Visit treehouseforkids.org to learn more or make a donation.
