I love Easter, and if you’re reading this blog, chances are we have something in common! So in a fashion befitting the Internet, I compiled a LIST, a GLORIOUS LIST of how you and the kids can celebrate Easter with EGG HUNTS this year in the Pacific Northwest.

How I celebrate Easter. The purple bathroom wall is real.

Federal Way Easterfest – April 20th 10am – noon

On Saturday the 20th, kids 11 & under can come to the Federal Way Church of the Nazarene for the egg hunt. There will be games and a bouncy house too!

Puyallup Spring Eggstavaganza – April 20th 10am – noon

This one’s for kids 12 & under.  In addition to the hunt, kids can get their picture taken with Peter Rabbit, as well as play games and do Easter crafts! It’s at the Puyallup Valley Sports Complex.

Steam Train Eggspress – April 20th starting at 11am

A great departure from traditional egg hunts, the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum can take you and the kids on a short train ride, then hunt for eggs in the field! There’s also age-appropriate activities and all kids 3 & up are welcome.  The museum will offer free parking, and the choo-choo ride is only $15.

Redmond Spring Eggstravaganza – April 20th noon – 4pm

The Redmond Town Center has fun that doesn’t involve baskets! The scavenger hunt is free for the first 2,000 kids under 12, arts & crafts plus trampolines, and Easter-themed sports activities that are all free.

Stroke Of Genius – April 2oth 11am – 5pm

This one’s hosted by Macy’s in Bellevue.  Everyone is invited to come color their Easter eggs, all you need is supplied by Macy’s.  Just in time for your own egg hunt Sunday!

Bunny Bounce – April 20th 9:30am – 3pm

Woodland Park Zoo has their annual Bunny Bounce on the zoo grounds. There’s multiple egg hunts for kids 8 & under, and you can watch lots of animals nibble on Easter treats that make for great photos!  All you need is a Zoo membership OR pay the general admission. PRO TIP: toddlers 2 & under get in free!

West Seattle Spring Egg Hunts –  April 20th starting at 10am

On the west side, four community centers (Alki, Delridge, Hiawatha & High Point) offer egg hunts for kids.  All times & locations are here.

Have an Egg-cellent & Happy Easter!
