We recap our 4th of July Weekend, including our amazing Red White and Bull Fantasy Music Festival. In the What Are You Kidding Me stories, people are disturbed that a nursing home with 26 Covid deaths posted a sign saying “We Beat Covid”, a man arrested for DUI at a convenience store claims his dog drove him, leaders of a school district meet to discuss reopening after Covid and then get it, a couple is arrested for leaving their infant in the car while shopping for adult toys, a couple turns their backyard into a “Covid Cabana”, and Joey Chesnutt breaks his own Hot Dog eating record with 75. In the Good Stuff, a San Francisco man turned 100 over the weekend so the town put on a 100-car parade for him. The 4th of July was weird this year but we found a way to celebrate: Fitz popped sparklers at the hospital so his wife could watch, Claire decided late to have a cookout and bought the last of the food at the store, Drew camped on his new property in Monroe, and Ryder hung out on the Peninsula with his masked family. Fitz can’t watch “Yellowstone” because his wife can’t watch it in the hospital and he only watches it with her. In the Fitz Files, Kanye West is running for President, which Shade predicted in January, and Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly are splitting. We talk about and play our favorite Kenny Chesney songs. We revisit the crazy stuff that’s happened so far in 2020. Today’s Troop Salute is Lauren Dugan USMC. On Wheel of Wakeup, we called Maggie from Traffic this morning at 4:40am. Fitz’ kids are entertaining themselves with non-stop Face Time Dance Parties with their cousins to the “Spooky Scary Skeleton Song”. Monday Motivation has some motivating quotes to get your week started right. Fun Fact: this is our 300th Show!
