The Seattle AIDS Walk
The Seattle AIDS Walk has joined forces with AIDS Walk New York, AIDS Walk San Francisco, and other AIDS service organizations for a mega-AIDS Walk experience on Sunday, May 16!
Join activists like you who believe racism is a public health crisis People of color make up as much as 70% of new HIV cases. In Washington, a Black or Latinx person is diagnosed with HIV every four days. We’re seeking activists like you to step up and walk out the racism, homophobia, sexism, stigma, and poverty that continues to disproportionately impact communities of color and perpetuate new HIV cases in Washington On our 35th anniversary year, we’re asking members of our community to “donate” 14,000 steps, or about 7 miles, toward our 14,000-mile walk goal by Sunday, May 16 to raise awareness of the estimated 14,000 people living with HIV in Washington.
Stand up and join activists across the state and the country to recognize that racism is a public health crisis while you #walkitout and raise vital funds to help support HIV services provided by Lifelong, and join us for our virtual AIDS Walk: Live at Home event on Sunday, May 16.
