Good News: It’s officially Spring!

With all the crazy in the world, one thing to cheer us all up is that spring is officially here; and it’s the earliest spring we’ve had in over 124 years! Not by much though. The first day of spring, also known as the spring equinox, normally falls on the 20th or 21st, but this year it falls on the 19th. The last time this happened was in 1896. So, 2020 will be remember for at least one cool thing, right?

The spring equinox means that we’ll have an equal amount of day and night. The best part about this, we finally will have more daylight than nighttime from now until the fall equinox.

So, in a time of what seems dark and scary, the sun will shine a little bit longer. #WeGotThisSeattle
