LISTEN: Eric Church Does A Great Cover Of Roger Miller’s Famous ‘Robin Hood’ Song!

A long time ago, in a land far away… Wait, wrong movie.

In 1973, Walt Disney re-imagined the tale of Robin Hood into an animated film. All of the main players were portrayed as animals, and the film offered a distinctly “Disney” take on the centuries-old tale.

Three of the soundtrack’s seven songs were written and performed by country music legend Roger Miller. He was also the voice of the rooster in the movie!

Since “Oo-De-Lally” was such an important piece of Miller’s legacy, it seemed obvious to include the song on the new tribute album, King of the Road: A Tribute to Roger Miller.

Erich Church was tapped to cover the song. Hear it below!!!
