On Air

Tim, Claire and Red - 5am - 9am

Hey there my name is Tim Leary. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to be here in the Northwest and to be a part of The New 98.9 The Bull! I’ve been lucky to be a part of country radio for more than 13 years, and this industry keeps getting better and better!

I’ve been married to my wife Karen (the most forgiving woman on the planet, and a certified AKC dog handler) for 22 years. We are blessed to have two children; our son Jonah (12 and active in Scouting), and our daughter Shawnessy (11 going on 27…loves art).

Heaven to me is a day at the ballpark with a beer in one hand, and a beer in the other, and I can’t wait to take in as many Mariners games as I can. (Wait…that should have read hot dog in the other…but two beers wouldn’t be a bad thing either.) And if you love Texas Hold ‘Em, then you and I need to spend some time in one of these awesome Poker Rooms!

I love the outdoors; camping, fishing, mountain biking, going to the rifle range, and I’ve been a Scout leader for the past 4 years. And of course, “outdoors” means at the end of the day firing up the grill and hanging out by the fire pit.

As I said, I’m so stoked to be a part of this awesome station that has an amazing positive energy behind it! Can’t wait to hang out and talk with you every weekday morning 5a-9a on The New 98.9 The Bull!

Hi, I’m Red and I co-host the morning show on The New 98.9 The Bull. I also co-host the Twenty Country Countdown, a nationally-syndicated countdown show relaying the top songs in country music. I grew up in the Midwest, but spent the past 20 years in the South and now I’m so excited to make a home in beautiful Seattle and to experience all that the great Pacific Northwest has to offer.

I am a huge dog-lover and have two sweet pups of my own – a Chihuahua named Bob and a Pug named Oscar. If I see a dog on the street, I must stop to pet it. In my downtime, I enjoy drinking wine, reading, exploring new restaurants with friends, drinking wine, running, drinking wine… and did I say “drinking wine”?

Though I only ventured into the wonderful world of radio three-and-a-half years ago, I’m no stranger to the media industry. I’ve worked as a writer and editor for newspapers and magazines, operated as the marketing and development director for a non-profit organization and am an active volunteer for many charitable organizations.

Join me on-air Monday through Friday from 5-9 a.m.!

Hi!  I’m Claire Beverly and I am so happy to be back in the Emerald City!  The beauty and kindness are still the same as when I was here before when I was working in the local Theatre scene, and I am grateful to now be able to spend your weekday mornings with you, bringing you the latest information on traffic and other news to get you ready for the day.

I hope I get to see you at the dog park with my pointer and my shepherd mix, or maybe out running, or maybe tipping back a beer, or some wine…or a Jameson. (Whichever; it’s all good.)  When I’m home I like to take long naps with my two cats and then watch a lot of Sci Fi on TV and do crossword puzzles.

Yes, I am a big nerd, but I do love my sports, so I’m sure I’ll also see you at an M’s or Rainiers game.

Seth Hughes - 9am - 2pm

Hi,  I'm Seth... I grew up on a dairy farm in Vermont but discovered very quickly I have a Northwest heart.

After 12 years of in Seattle radio and playin' in the deep woods of Snohomish County this is definitely my home.  I love my family, food and the golf course.  In that order.  We're a hockey family... my kindergartner could skate circles around me in full pads before he could walk.

Practically everything I eat is just an excuse to enjoy it's condiment and I love everything outdoors.  Hope we can enjoy some beer and chicken wings together soon, but in the meantime, you can hear me from 9am – 2pm, Monday – Friday on 98.9 The Bull!

Corey Dillon - 2pm - 7pm

Corey Dillon sq

Hey! My name is Corey Dillon, love dogs, I have an average beard at best, and I was born and raised in the Northeast but couldn't be happier to make the Pacific Northwest my new home. (It's gorgeous here!)

I'm a big sports fan whether it's football, baseball, basketball, or HOCKEY, and 2020 needs to hurry up and bring us a hockey team!  If I've got some free time you can catch me outdoors, out on the golf course or hiking, which is one of my favorite things to do, and is good because it offsets my love of food and beer. Cannot wait to explore the food scene here in Seattle as well as all the local breweries.

If you have any recommendations of things I must do, food to try, or must drink spots feel free to let me know on any of the social media links below, or just give me a ring here at The New 98.9 The Bull from 2p - 7p.

Kat - Weekends

Kat

Hey there! My name is Kat, and I’ve made my way from the Midwest, to the beaches in Florida, all the way out to the incredible Pacific Northwest! I’ve called this place home for years now, and every day I’m still finding more things to love about it and the people I meet!

I’ve been in radio ever since high school doing anything and everything including hosting morning shows, pulling nights, working in promotions, scheduling music, doing news, even sales! As they say, “when you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life”…that definitely defines my passion for what I do!

In my downtime, you will most likely might find me spending time with my furbabies, or possibly at a winery or heading to find bottomless mimosas with my fabulous friends. I’m also the best (possibly loudest) fan to bring along to watch the Sounders, Mariners and Seahawks! I grew up playing sports so I LOVE being somewhere where I can be a part of so many! I also love going to concerts, exploring the PNW, trying any and all new foods that I can, and seeing movies –movie popcorn is the best! I’m a Disney girl at heart so if you ever need someone to join you at Disneyland, I volunteer as tribute! Hang out with me weekends on The New 98.9 The Bull!
