Sam Hunt Announces The Southside Summer Tour 2020

Sam Hunt, who hasn’t released an album in six years, has just announced his 2020 tour as we prepared for the release of his sophomore album ‘Southside’ which drops April 3rd. The tour will also feature Kip Moore, Travis Denning and Ernest.

His album ‘Southside’ includes his current single ‘Kinfolks’ as well as a recently release ballad ‘Sinning with You.’ This album follows his debut album ‘Montevallo’ that came out in 2014 and featured smash hits like ‘Leave the Night On,’ ‘Take Your Time,’ ‘House Party,’ ‘Break Up in a Small Town’ and ‘Make You Miss Me.’

The Southside Summer Tour kicks off May 28th in Charlotte, hits over 40 cities, before wrapping up September 26th in New Mexico. The interesting thing to me is that there isn’t a Northwest date.

Hunt doesn’t come north of California on the west coast, but after going through the dates, I found something interesting. There is a nice little game of free dates between July 27th and August 5th….which coincidentally would line up perfectly with the Northwest’s biggest country festival in Watershed.

This is a total uneducated guess on my part….but I think we might see him there. How epic would that be!

Here is the entire list of dates and his Instagram post with the art for it!

About Corey Dillon

I love dogs, have an average beard at best, and I was born and raised in the Northeast but couldn't be happier to make the PNW my new home. When I'm not in studio you can catch me playing golf or exploring the amazing trails Washington has to offer.
