Shania Twain is opening up about her battle with Lyme Disease, which she thought would take her voice. During an upcoming interview on Sunday Today with Willie Geist, Twain said, “It was devastating. I was very, very sad about it to the point where I just — I felt I had no other choice but to accept it — and that I would never sing again. I was mourning the expression of my voice.”
The good news, after several surgeries, Twain’s voice is back and better than ever. Twain’s full interview airs on NBC Sunday, at 8 a.m. on ET.
