The Lion King trailer is here!

No it’s not 1994 and beepers aren’t still on the rise. But we did get a new Lion King trailer! If you were a kid in the 90’s or had a kid in the 90’s you know this movie. Even if you didn’t, you probably still know this movie!

The live action Aladdin trailer  came out last month and changed everyone’s mind on whether or not they were gonna see it. The first picture of Will Smith as Genie made everyone say “No thank you.” Then when the trailer came out people were thrilled to relive their childhood. Because once again Disney proved that you need to just trust them.

The new Lion King trailer looks like a shot-for-shot remake of the original animated movie. It starts with a serious tone and introduces the new versions of Scar, Simba and Mufasa!

Look I would love to sit here and talk  your ear off about how amazing it was and how adorable all the animals look but instead I’ll let YOU watch the trailer!

The question isn’t if you’re going to see it, the question is who won’t see it?! They not only make every character exactly like the animated version they even included the singing which means a live action version of I Just Can’t Wait To Be King is coming and I’ll be singing along in the theaters!

Lion King is in theaters everywhere July 19th this summer!

About Ryder

Born and raised in Washington and I’m proud to call this place my home. I grew up dragging brush for my dad's tree service while listening to the radio. Those are some of my fondest memories as a kid. Being on a country radio station in Seattle is a chance to bring some of that joy to the greater Seattle area!
