WATCH: Justin Timberlake takes another shot of “Tennessee Whiskey” with Chris Stapleton in Nashville

Justin Timberlake ‘s Nashville tour stop proved to be a great opportunity for a reunion with Chris Stapleton.

The two became linked in November of 2015, when their performance of Chris’ “Tennessee Whiskey” and Justin’s “Drink You Away” on that year’s CMA Awards blew the roof off the joint, and turned Stapleton into a superstar.

Wednesday night at Music City’s Bridgestone Arena, the pair revisited “Tennessee Whiskey,” .  It began with a verse from Chris, before Timberlake joined on the chorus. After Timberlake took the second verse, Stapleton delivered an extended electric guitar solo before the audience took over, turning the country tune into an arena sing-along.

The pair then went on to do their collaboration from Justin’s Man of the Woods album, “Say Something.”
